Born as a Xaela, at the lowest point in her life, Gan was offered the opportunity to be something more. Seizing that chance, she was reborn as a creature known as Isonade.Freely shifting between Xaela and Miqo'te, Gan continues to push for a better future for herself and her family.

Appearance: Regardless of what form she is in, Gan is easily identifiable by her long violet locks, tinged with teal, reminiscent of the ocean. Her eyes--a mismatched orange and teal--are always surrounded by black sclera. She sports black markings around her eyes, a set of claw mark scars under her left eye, sharp, sharklike teeth inside her mouth, and her fingers always end with clawlike nails.As fearsome as these features seem, they are all wrapped in a 4' 9" package.

Personality: While she never intentionally seeks to cause trouble or subvert the law, she is very much an "any means possible" sort of individual, especially when it comes to family. She will stop at nothing, go to any lengths, sink to any level to protect her family. If someone she cares about is hurt or at risk, she will wade into hell itself to help them. She can come across as very intense and overbearing in some regards, but once her loyalty is earned, it's very hard to lose it.

What Are Yokai?

Yokai, 妖怪, are strange and supernatural creatures from Japanese (in this case, Hingan) folklore.Many different English words have been used as translations. Yokai is sometimes translated as monster, demon, spirit, or goblin, but it can encompass all of that and more. The world of yokai also includes ghosts, gods, transformed humans and animals, spirit possession, urban legends, and other strange phenomena. The Isonade

About the Player

Hi, I'm Veloxa. (No that's not my real name but that's what I use.) I'm 30+ years old and have been actively RPing for about10 years now. I currently operate under Eastern Timezone hours, though that's subject to change from time to time. While I currently have fairly limited time with which I can RP, I'm willing to find out a way to make things work if you're interested.

What I'm Willing to RP

  • Need people to help push a plot? Personal or otherwise? I'll do that. I will SO do that. I love to help people grow and develop their characters.

  • Dark/Mature Themes - Yes. But, I do request that we discuss some of the potential elements that will be included so as to make sure and avoid anything that could be triggering or uncomfortable for either party. Nothing proceeds without explicit consent from all players involved.

  • Conflict - Yes. So long as all parties involved understand that it is solely IC and not in any way OOC oriented or inclined. Not all characters get along and yes, rivals and enemies are a thing. I'm willing to play that role, or have someone play that role for me. As long as we keep lines of communication open.

  • Friends/Business Partners - Can't really get anywhere in life without either of these. So by all means, I happily welcome anyone wanting to play either of these roles.

What I Won't RP

  • Anything including Inappropriate Conduct towards children and minors -- I shouldn't have to say this, but considering some people I've seen, I'm going to say it regardless. Won't have any part of it and will report anyone asking for it. End of story.

  • Sexual Assault of any kind. I'm willing to TL;DR it, but unless it's a consensual sexual situation I will NOT Rp it out for personal reasons.

  • I will not be someone's punching bag IC or OOC. You have a problem, you talk to me like an adult or we don't RP. Conflict IC is fine, but if it's solely to get your jollies and not offer any point or purpose, I have no interest.

  • Permanent disfigurement or death of my character without consent. Should go without saying but, I'm putting it out there anyways.

  • IC/OOC blurring. If I detect it, I'll pull you aside to talk it out. If it continues, I'm gone. Too much drama involved with that and I don't have the time or desire to deal with that level of stress.
